Today's topic is a very sensitive one. So let me start with the incident itself.
This incident took place in KV. We were as usual sitting at our common place. So as always a serious topic came over. Now that day it was about sex. When we started talking off it, one of my close friends said "I don't like that, it reduces respect to my parents an my brother(recently married), its immoral".
Now how can I explain to her she was also born due to this so called immoral act.
Not only her many of my friends thought so that sex is bad and once children are born parents should not engage in that. I really don't get that. Are parents just servants to take care of children. Don't they have their own life.
Now another point, the girl also said I sleep with my mom and my dad sleeps in a separate room. Now its not necessary that they always have sex, they can talk of some serious family matters too.
This is where I think the holy relationship of husband and wife is made unholy. When God has united them who are we to separate them.

Same discussion here with my friends... I dont know what to say.. See even parents too are having their own interests, feelings and so on... Its their personal life, its not must that they should always give importance to our life. They too have some thing to get satisfied in their life. But my friends are not accepting it... What to do? So my point is its not wrong, they are free to do any thing, because its their life..
I guess it is natural of children to see their parents as sexless idols. It takes time for children to come to terms with this undeniable fact of life, but sooner or later everybody needs to come to terms with it.
You are really mature to think that way dear.Keep it up!
hmm...well everyone needs their own space....
Its not that people label this as unholy but they have been like this because their parents never talked or their society never talked openly on this. It has become a social norm in most of the countries. But with the western impact, it is deemed necessary to talk about sex as it is one of most important aspect of human lives.
yeah!!
very sensitive issue..but people cumpletly ignore it..
our parents r stuck up wid so many things..family..responsibilities...regular issues..
and dey do hav dere own life
**When God has united them who are we to separate them.
true!!
The point is as we are young we don't know what is right or what is wrong. When we think about something that we recently came to know we'll say PHewww!! How can we do that??? But, as we grow more old, as we get to know the world, we know that's the way life is!! Every one has an individual life, just because they have some responsibilities like parents, son, teacher doesn't mean they can't have a normal life.
since its a secret i can't tell it 2 in my blog...which group are u in ? science or comm ?
somehow children really dont think their parents have life other than taking care of them.
Its a bit weird, but in a way that should a part of education at least at home. Parents should teach kids that though they are the first priority but life doesnt go the way kids want to.
children do have dat kinda thnking...but as dey grow up dey get in terms wth reality...
@ selerines:
yes on this topic we sometimes don't know wat to say but what has to be will always be watever we say.
In my opinion also i'd say wat's wrong.
thanx
@ sam:
ye its rite tat they take time to change. coz however they try they can't deny the fact. but ma frnd is an exception.
ur comment tat its maturity frm ma side. is actually a big complement for me.
thanx
@ vishesh:
ye frnd everyone needs their space but some children don't tend to accept tat fact though they argue for freedom.
@ mirror image:
yes wat u said abt western impact is true. and I think modernity is in accepting such truths of life rather than wearing short clothes. Though I don't say wearing short clothes is bad.
@ joie:
yes buddy people ignore it completely. and often we find romance and luv out of married couples' lives.
@ aneesh:
ur point is good it may be coz at a young age they don't know wat is write and wat is wrong. but can't deny the fact tat some of them just can't accept.
@ vishesh:
I did not understand wat is ur Q. grp tat means subject or wat?
if yes its science.
@ lena:
ye u r rite I agree. they shuld be taught earlier on tat they are important parts of the family but not all the family.
@ pooja;
yes tats rite. but I have seen sum children who just can't stand it.
Hmm...that seems quite a strange and queer outlook of your friend...I,for one, can't understand what has sex got to do with the morality of raising children!
Holy shit..God or no god...sex is like energy released from the system for more stability, it's a vent for the emotions that pile up towards a person's loved one...and I don't see anything wrong in it!
And it's all happening coz of the nosy and dominating views denying one's personal choice are being carried through the generations, the children,in some way or the other, have learnt this by their own parents(like in decission making, etc-)
@ ayushi:
ye even I couldn't get her opinion.
May be coz of the reason u mentioned and may be coz of dire selfishness. anything it can be.
It requires real up to date views to accept the fact. Which is not seen in many of today's superficial people.
thanx 4 ur point out.
everyone need their own space........
Zrestha:
ye tats true
welcome here keep coming frnd
When we r young and immature, we think SEX is such a shameful thing. I was brought up in a home where my parents never spoke abt Sex. But in school, we had to Sex education classes.
It all depends on ur background and ur experiences in life.
Keshi.
@ keshi:
u hav made a gud point there frnd i like tat.
oh u in science....then i can't help you...lol i am in commerce :)
This is some maturity...At an age of 17 if you can think so sensibly..
I appreciate you for it.Happy to find people who are sensitive to others feelings.
:)
@ vishesh;
ooho tat's really very very sad He he lol
@ mitra:
oh thanx dear now tats a real complement buddy thank u frnd once again.
BTW welcome here
Am happy to see an Indian girl blogging about this. Sex is considered such a taboo in India before marriage that this taboo is carried over after marriage too, I feel. I know that couples here in the United States have sex even in their 80's. It is a natural instinct!!
@ sol:
yes its instinctive then why to suppress that.
thanx for ur compliment.
thanx 4 dropping by.
**But in school, we had to Sex education classes.

@ lukky:
