RELIGION..as a DRAMA..HUH ..!!

Some time ago in a religious place...2 girls...restless..totally..pay no attention to what is said or done there...just worried about their..clothes.

What kind of a belief is that?

Its better not to go to any religious place .... I don't think that such a devotion is of any use...I just can't take people who just go to any temple mosque or church just as a fulfillment of a ritual.

I have also seen people who believe just by going to such places or by doing certain rituals you are close to GOD....

Then you can do all kinds of injustice what the hell!!

Any way ...I don't find it correct ...

Ps:) This is my 50th post..here..I would like to thank all my readers..to make it possible.....

Congrats on your 50th post! Keep going:)

Ye I feel same about those who go to temple for show-off. They mostly dont bother to go to temple usually. Juz pop up on festive days and advertise their clothes nd accesories..

Well, quite frankly... I don't see why their behaviour ought to bother you so much. :D Apni zindagi jiyo...

And you also know correct/incorrect/right/wrong are relative terms. Moreover, why should we be judgemental..? What does the Bible say about us judging someone..?

And well... I have already made a post on Religion and beliefs. click

If you ask me... We have enough on our heads to worry about. Rather than someone else's acting worrying us. Hope you get the point. Period.

Peace.

Here's wishing you and all your family a very Merry X-Mas and a Happy New Year. Hope and pray the season ushers in affluence and well-being.

Peace. Take care. Be well.

hmmm..so U wanna argue..no probs I am very good at it :P

So what I need to say is...I said tat coz I don't do it so I find it weird..k
so what Bible says is cleared there..I hav seen myself and then only criticized others
now what I feel is sometimes I too feel like you..y shud I bother abt wat others say..but then at other tymes I feel something else..so if you see that way then there is nothing wrong in this world..even a murder can be justified...

tats all

come on argue wth me

Congrats on the achievement.,. About the post, If u take the case of the girls, your anger at them is not justified.,. (Thats my view). Coz when one is young, one doesnt have much idea on these matters.,. The kids just do coz they are told by their parents to do it. Only when a person matures, then his action deem if its correct or not. Alas, for some people Maturity is a life long process !! ;)

I think its better to leave people to their own self.,. Coz they will be responsible for their actions., As long as you are right in your actions and deed, you will be happy ! :)

Prashant Sree said...

About your post, just know this- People are responsible for their actions. So as long as you are apt and correct in your actions , be glad.,. For you will be happy.,.

And relating to the incident which you have mentioned, if the girls were small childrens, then the issue hardly arises.,. Bcoz, many of us follow the customs without hardly knowing why we should do it. Only a few matured people like you who understand the reason, do it with purpose. For the others, if they do it with faith , then its good for them , otherwise they will realise it one day.,.

Congrats for the achievement !! Keep rocking !

hmm..50th post..gr8 going dear..
CONGRATULATIONS...
for the post..i guess its a personal choice..but still ppl like this shouldn't really bother to visit these places...temples are not food joints or hang-outs...
of which they serve the purpose now a days...
rituals and regular visits dont do any good until the soul is pure n belief is strong...i wont convince ppl of being a believer, agnost or atheist..thats a personal POV..
cheerz!

Congrats on the 50th PJ... :) Awaiting your 500th too :P

There was a beautiful quote by Albert Einstein: True religion is real living; living with all one's soul, with all one's goodness and righteousness.

I think it is very apt! ;)

P.S. Beautiful profile pic...love it :)

congrats on d 50th post!! yes,u must pray out of devotion, not compulsion.

Kartz said...

You don't do it. Good for you. Period. It end's there.

Your getting put off with what they are doing is not gonna change water into wine.

Anyone can criticize. No one can be perfect, right? And that's what the Bible says. "How can you tell your brother, 'let me remove the dirt from your eye', when there is a plank right in front of yours?" - I fail to recollect the Chapter, but there is something very very close to what I just quoted.

See... One is NEVER short of excuses and alibis. So, *anything* can be justified. Huh...

Peace.

Yes, worship is in the heart, mind and soul and not on any external rituals. Those who do so will not get deep in their spiritual quest. Thanks for the post. God bless you always.

I love to go temples on non-festival occassions.
Bcoz on festive occassions, when it is too crowded, I feel glamour and rumour takes over the temple environment.

kiran sawhney said...

totally agree with you. Congrats on your 50th post.

Aneesh said...

Congrats for completing the half century..

'N Yup I agree with what you said.
'N personally, I don't think to get close to god, we need to go to temple/church/mosque.
Only thing that we need is belief the rest are irrelevant.
Praying at home is as effective as praying at some place else.
Well, that's just my belief.

i know many people going to temples or other religious places especially during exam time expecting some magical things to happen..
i think if you do what you are supposed to, there is absolutely no need to go anywhere or please someone...

trust me, I feel the same way abt it. Some ppl give more imporatance to a piece of cloth, a place or a book more than to HUMAN FEELINGS!

Thats not FAITH...thats called STUPIDITY.
