Society Decides When It Has No Part To Play....

I have seen in many cases the matter should remain within the family only but it doesn’t it comes out and society is the one which decides.
For example if a girl is raped. In most of such cases the parents don’t accept her. Why? Because if they do so, then they will be insulted in front of all.
When no one gave her food or money to study who are they to decide her destiny.
Another thing I see is if something like that happens with the girl she is the one who is insulted when the real culprit moves around freely. This is also because of the society.
One more thing which is the most important one is no one marries a such a girl. As its believed there is no use of her any more. Is virginity everything? Or a women does not have any other purpose than producing children? Has she not to be pure at heart. I don't think if there is no virginity she is not pure.
Even the educated class does not accept such a girl. In all such cases society is the main culprit. Which decides the destiny of not only such girls but many other people.
Who has given them this right?

To be contd…

"In most of such cases the parents don’t accept her"- yeah true just 2 an extent...but remember, how long do u think de child will remain in de garbage dump?..at least her mother will extend her arms(after having carried her for approx 280 days...!!!)

"As it's believed there is no use of her any more"-(hmmmm...that line need reconsideration...) de term "use" is a bit too harsh right...? And the 'belief' u stress is not that widespread as u might think...trust me...there will be helping hands 4 de victim...

"Is virginity everything?" -no not at all...unfortunately in this age...every man would prefer(just prefer)a virgin...that's all...'coz
in this age of 'outburst of knowledge' it'll b known
(2 de educated ones at least) that having a hymenal tear(loss of virginity)needn't actually require an intercourse(or in this context rape)...

And last...society is not that totally bad dear...c de gud part too...

In the sequel that u promised consider de role of media(hero or villain)

I agree with nithin's Comment. But I don't think "in most cases the parents don't accept her" that happens. It depends, if the girl was involved in a sex racket and if she had some part in it, then the parents certainly won't accept it. In other cased I don't think that happens pretty much

@ Aneesh

Here I'm talking of rape cases. Other cases its girl's fault also.

Nithin thanks for the suggestion but I would touch issues other than this in which media has no part to play.

you see I totally agree with you.
And I think most people who do not speak out are punks I am starting to see change in certain areas. I was watching a documentary about a young woman who was raped and she came forward...in her land many people were afraid for her but she came forward and other places began to rally for her and the men that raped her were brought to justice.

We must speak out and let traditional thinkers understand that they cannot dictate our lives and how we live.

Love your blog!
